Take My Hand

by Glenwood Crowe

/

about

I started writing this song when I was 16 and revived it during my first solo trip through Colorado in my early 20's when I was looking for flexible songs to play on street corners. I've recorded it a few different ways in totally different tempos/styles, but this slower version found its way onto "Searching For Service" in 2016 and was recently remixed and remastered as that whole album gets re-imagined. Look for the full album updated later this year :)

lyrics

Take my hand
Hold me
Underwater
Jump off the deep end

Hold me close
Any way you want to
But hold me close to you

I could sing that sad song
Grow my hair long

Old familiar sounds
Fool, I fill them up with words
I could turn this train around
But what would I have learned?

about

Glenwood Crowe Phoenix, Arizona

Glenwood Crowe started in 2015 as a multi-instrument solo project. Now I'm mostly just trying to play music with friends, tell stories, and sing songs in your living room. ... more
